Junho Park, PhD
Assistant Professor (tenure-track), Biomedical Engineering
Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary
Junho Park directs the HERO lab. His group studies shared autonomy and human–prosthetic interaction, combining neuroergonomics, human performance modeling and biosignal processing, and extends that work to human–AI teams in emergency response and clinical care.
He was previously a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Santa Clara University and spent nine years at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses leading human factors and requirements analyses of defense systems. He holds a PhD in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University.
